About SidePlayer

SidePlayer searches and plays over 2 million audio tracks. SidePlayer is a gadget for your Windows Vista SideBar. The idea of the SidePlayer is to be able to play any audio track right from the desktop, without launching any browsers and doing any searching. All the music that SidePlayer plays can be found using a standard search and all the music is provided for free by many music providers.

Using SidePlayer you can put an end to music downloads. No more piracy! No more problems downloading mp3s. No more waiting just to find out you've downloaded something you didn't want. Just think of an artist or track name, give it to SidePlayer and sit back and enjoy the music.

All tunes are streamed straight to your desktop. No waiting for downloads. SidePlayer may take up to 20 seconds to find your song.

How to Use SidePlayer

Using SidePlayer is easy. To search for music, simply enter the Track Name in the Search Box and press the Search button. Many Tracks can be found without giving an Artist Name. However, if SidePlayer returns the wrong track, entering an Artist Name will help it to find the right track.

To Update to the latest version, please use the Update tab in the settings page and follow the instructions on screen.
